8/22/2023 0 Comments Yves saint laurent touche eclat![]() ![]() I guess since it brightens and brings light to the applied area while not containing any shimmer or glitter, it can be categorized in both. It’s interesting to see that the product is described as a highlighter while also being used and categorized as a concealer. The product is contained in a clickable pen with a brush tip. The formula is infused with Hyaluronic Acid to increase hydration and plump skin, and Vitamin E to fight visible signs of fatigue. The product has light-infused pigments that blend seamlessly for a healthy and natural glow that never looks cakey or overdone. The original YSL Touche Éclat Radiant Touch is available in 14 shades and is described as a highlighter with a sheer to medium, buildable coverage that instantly brightens, smooths and perfects the complexion with a natural, luminous finish without any shimmer or glitter. I’m going to review and compare the two different YSL Touche Éclat Concealers in today’s post. However, there is a new kid in town! The Touche Éclat High Cover Radiant Concealer is specifically created for the under-eye area, with a formula that reflects light away from the eyes to diffuse while correcting dark shadows. Your email address will not be published. The original YSL Touche Éclat Radiant Touch is a very popular product of the brand, described to instantly give 8 hours of beauty sleep in a click. Low Beauty installment is a dupe worthy success! Have you tried the Dream Lumi? It is a gel based formula, that gives you time to work with it before drying, and it seriously sits on the skin perfectly.Īll and all, I seriously am loving the Maybelline Dream Lumi, it a solid dupe for the YSL Touche Eclat, and may possibly be replacing the YSL. I do love that the formula of the Maybelline doesn’t crease, and is super light for packing a pigmented punch. However the formula of the Maybelline is AMAZING! The Maybelline definitely has some serious concealing power while at times the YSL can be a bit lacking in coverage sometimes. The packaging of the Maybelline Dream Lumi is a bit on the plastic side, while the luxurious gold packaging of the Yves Saint Laurent is dreamy- no comparison. Highlighting effect- check! Blends easy? check! Covers dark circles and blemishes? check! While the Touche Eclat comes in 12 shades, the Maybelline falls a bit short with only 6 different shade choices. Maybelline Dream Lumi Highlighting Concealer– $8 USD, is a PHENOMENAL drugstore dream. Dark circles- gone! Luminous skin- check! Easy to blend- check, check! However at $41 a wand, YSL is starting to get a run for its money with an alternative $8 option. Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat – $41 USD, is a do all beauty wand. Now it may not be housed in a gold magic wand like the original, but a click pen applicator- check ! Easy to apply wand- check! So far all the major boxes are ticked. So without further ado- YSL Touche Eclat meet Maybelline Dream Lumi…įirst things first, the packaging. This dupe might not come as a surprise as many drugstore brands are trying to bring out their version. A red carpet staple, and a coveted item in many beauty guru’s kits worldwide. ![]() Low Beauty, you are probably just as stoked for this as I am- a solid dupe for a 20 year old concealer that sells every 10 seconds. ![]()
